Prof. Dr. Daniel Graewe advises in the field of commercial and corporate law, from venture capital financing to the negotiation of international contracts and M&A transactions to restructuring in corporate crises. A further focus of his work is litigation before state courts and arbitration tribunals.

Daniel is a partner at MARTIUS. He previously worked as a lawyer for 15 years, including in major international law firms in Hamburg, London and Munich. He is also a professor of business law and senior visiting fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. He studied law (Dr. jur.) and politics (Dipl.-Pol.) in Germany, Switzerland, the USA and Japan. He also completed an LL.M. with a focus on Japanese law.
