Martius advises the shareholders of Medical Device Services – Dr. Rossberger GmbH (MDS) on the acquisition by GBA Group.

MDS will become part of the laboratory network of the Hamburg-based GBA Group.

Founded in 1994 in Gilching near Munich, Germany, MDS currently employs more than 30 people and is one of Europe’s leading providers of qualification and evaluation services for medical devices. Its portfolio includes laboratory analyses and other services related to the qualification of the biological compatibility of products/materials, the qualification of manufacturing, cleaning, packaging, sterilization processes and packaging systems, and the validation of the reprocessability of medical devices.

With this acquisition, GBA Group significantly expands its service portfolio in the field of medical device qualification and gives its customers access to an even broader analysis portfolio.
