Thies Jacob advises on corporate and transactional law issues. He focuses on private equity funds and medium-sized companies, in particular on the sale or spin-off of business units (carve-out) as well as on asset deals.
Prior to MARTIUS, he worked several years as a lawyer in a leading German law firm. He studied law at the universities of Bayreuth (2012) and Auckland (LL.M., 2013). He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg and was admitted to the bar in January 2017.
